Swine flu vaccine would not be available in Syria before the end of next December to be sure of its safety, Health Minister Reza Saeed said.
 
He affirmed that small quantity of vaccine might arrive in Syria next month, noting that the H1N1 cases in Syria reached 122.  
 
The remarks were made in a press conference with the WHO Middle East Region Director Hussien Abdul Razzaq al-Jazaeri who stressed that two cases of swine flu are daily being recorded .
 
He added: "China has used 17 million doses reporting no complications except side effects …the same happened in the US and Australia", criticizing reports on dangerous effect of the vaccine and producing the virus by the US .
 
The WHO official cited that Oman received on Monday 100.000 doses.
 
On the other hand, al-Jazaeri said: " during the Arab heath ministers' meeting held 45 days ago, Saudi Arabia demanded not to give a pilgrimage permission to a person whose age is less than 12 or more than 65 or how suffer from chronic diseases".
 
"Total infections during (Omra) in Ramadan month reached 26", the official added.
 
Director of Chronic Diseases Department in Health Ministry Mahmod Karim told reporters that Syria is contacting three world companies for producing vaccine and ordered an enough quantity.
 
"New three centers are opened to receive infections", Karim added.
