Hamas is keen on completing swap deal with Israel for releasing Palestinian prisoners through German mediation.
The remarks were made on Tuesday by Hamas Representative in Lebanon and Official in charge of international relations Osama Hamdan during a lecture at Yarmok center, in Damascus.
He affirmed Hamas' demand for releasing 11.000 Palestinian children and women from the Israel jails, noting that recent Cairo talks dealt with prisoners' file which is still under discussion.
On the other hand, Hamdan talked about latest developments in the occupied Palestinian land, stressing Hamas' interest in completing reconciliation based on adherence to national principles.
"The main obstacle that hinders reconciliation is US-Israeli interference which aim to submit to quartet committee's conditions" Hamas official said.
Regarding Palestinian elections, Hamdan underlined the necessity of putting an end to Palestinian division before elections.
